There are many resources available to those of us who would like to learn more about water issues, developers and their plans, common myths or our local politics.

Yavapai County Government Home Page - This is a remarkably useful page with a wealth of handy information and tools.  Want to look at property zoning in your area?  Try the GIS Mapping applications.  Want to find out if that "developer" is just a common land broker?  Look for clues in Recorded Documents.  From "Bad Checks" to "Weather", this proves to be one of the most useful pages on the net.

Dewey-Humboldt's Home Page - Not quite as useful but it still has good information that's sure to save you some trips to Town Hall.

Citizens Water Advocacy Group - Features a wide array of reports and information on water topics of particular interest to those in and around the Prescott AMA. This group does a lot!

Arizona Department of Water Resources - Almost everything you ever wanted to know about water in Arizona.

Service Arizona - A very useful site that will handle vehicle registration renewal, vehicle permits, address changes and almost all your MVD needs.  As a nice bonus, you can also register to vote here.

The Standard Septic System: Still an Effective Choice for Onsite Wastewater Treatment - This is just one of many articles on the safety and effectiveness of septic systems.  Don't be fooled by people who say otherwise!
